As part of Black History Month, the Association of Beti of Canada invites you to an exceptional event: Evening in the Village, an immersion into the richness and diversity of Beti culture.

Learn the basics of Ewondo, one of the ancestral languages of the Beti people, and explore its unique sounds and rich linguistic heritage.
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Beti Storytelling
Be captivated by traditional tales narrated by our storytellers, where wisdom, cunning, and life lessons are at the heart of every story.
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Fair and Expo – Traditional Foods
Savor the authentic flavors of Beti cuisine and discover handcrafted items in a convivial setting.
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Balafons and Introduction to Bikutsi
Feel the rhythm of the balafons and take part in an introduction to Bikutsi, a traditional dance that embodies the spirit and energy of the Beti people.
