Reynold is dying of stomach cancer. His missed date with death catches up with him as the hunger he was subjected to at Fort-Dimanche prison brings back dark memories. He uses the last meals he is still able to eat as an excuse to share them with his daughter, Vanessa, whom he has not seen in nearly 20 years.
