Dr. Alix Rey, a Quebec physician of Haitian origin, promotes awareness of the causes of visible minorities. His journey from Haiti, Mexico and the United States led him to Quebec. Since his retirement in 2004, Dr. Alix has been involved in various volunteer causes in Laval. Passionate about the visual arts, he devotes himself to Haitian painting and founded the association Artistes des Réminiscences.
