The Côte-des-Neiges Black Community Association (CDNBCA) is pleased to formally invite [Organization Name] to participate in our upcoming youth-led linguistic networking event on January 24th, 2026 at the PHI Centre from 12pm - 7pm.
Circonflexe: Next GÉN addresses one of the most significant barriers facing English-speaking youth entering post-secondary education and the workforce: isolation, confidence and fluency in French. By combining linguistic mentorship, connection, and youth-led networking, the event transforms this challenge into a clear pathway to employability.
We are inviting organizations to support the event by:
Hosting an information booth to share career pathways, internships, and job opportunities
Engaging directly with youth through informal networking and conversations
Serving as a French linguistic mentor (Only 8 hours a year)
Bringing up to five (5) youth from your network to attend
Youth participating in the event will benefit from:
Networking with employers, professionals, and community leaders
Workshops focused on wellness, activism, and content creative leadership
Opportunities to build confidence, professional readiness, and language skills
Great giveaways, food, and a vibrant, youth-led experience
This event is designed to help youth turn language barriers into pathways to opportunity by connecting them with the people and networks that matter.
If you’re interested in participating, getting a booth or to become a linguistic mentor, please complete the following form:
