Hosted by speaker Nathalie Roy, with spoken-word artist and poet Irina Aguy.
The talk “And Am I Not a Woman? Black and the Journey of a Feminist” invites you to explore the paths of Black feminist women who have shaped and continue to shape Quebec and Canadian society. Through these emblematic figures, Longueuil-based speaker Nathalie Roy will also share her own story and create a space for dialogue with the audience. For this event, the artist Irina Aguy will offer one of her poem. Nathalie Roy is the president of the nonprofit Le Zèbre Jaune and a specialist in gender equality, equity, diversity and inclusion, human rights, women’s economic empowerment, management, training, conscious leadership, and civility in the workplace.
