As part of the Vues d’Afrique Rallye-Expos and Black History Month 2026, the NouvimArts Expos collective is presenting, from February 1st to March 15th, 2026, a visual arts exhibition at the Centre N-A Rive.
The collective exhibition «DIVERS-CITÉ» brings together the works of about twenty Afro-descendant visual and multidisciplinary artists. Through their diverse practices, each of them offers a unique perspective on the identities and realities of Montréal’s diversity.
This exploration addresses themes such as identity, belonging, renewal, and resilience, through various mediums: painting, photography, installations, and digital art. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in an engaging and luminous experience that reveals the richness of contemporary Afro-descendant voices and narratives.
Their works—rooted in their personal journeys—resonate far beyond their individual stories, united by a shared mission: to highlight, affirm, and celebrate the creativity of the diaspora.
Mr. Gabriel Landry, recognized and award-winning on both national and international stages, is the Honorary President of the exhibition, which also brings together painters, photographers, and creators of diverse origins, with the objective of fostering artistic dialogue.
An exhibition organized in collaboration with NouvimArts Expos.
