On the occasion of Black History Month, we invite you to a special evening dedicated to the memory, thought, and legacy of Frantz Fanon, a major figure in Black intellectual and political history.
In partnership with Axia Films and Cinéma Cinéma, this event marks the official Montréal release of FANON, directed by Jean-Claude Barny. An evening that celebrates cinema as a powerful tool for transmission, reflection, and the visibility of Black history.
Over the course of this special night, you will have the privilege of discovering the film on the big screen in the presence of the director, and taking part in a meaningful moment of dialogue, culture, and shared experience.
This screening is part of a broader commitment to highlighting essential stories, fostering contemporary conversations, and honoring the voices that have shaped Black struggles and imaginaries around the world.
