Meet the personalities of diversity who enrich our culture . Dr. Alix Rey, a Quebec physician of Haitian origin, is actively involved in raising awareness of the causes of visible minorities. His career path, which took him from Haiti to Mexico, then to the United States, before settling in Quebec, is inspiring.
Since his retirement in 2004, Dr. Alix has volunteered in Laval for a variety of causes. Passionate about the visual arts, he devotes himself to Haitian painting and founded the association Artistes des Réminiscences.
