Immerse yourself in the world of Rico, a child immigrant to Quebec. Discover his challenges and his quest for identity, to the rhythm of Haitian culture.
''One night in 1975, against his mother's warnings of potential dangers, little Rico ventures to the Kanaval in his small town on the Haitian coast. There, he encounters all kinds of legends come to life. When he returns, he and his mother decide to flee the country after she is attacked. They end up in a rural Quebec village, where Rico has to deal with everything that's new in his life, from snow to racism. He summons Kana, an imaginary friend from Haitian mythology, to help him understand the world around him.''
