The Taste of Mboa is a festive day dedicated to showcasing Afro-descendant cultures through interactive, artistic, and culinary activities. This event marks the conclusion of Black History Month by bringing the community together around culture, history, and entertainment.
The program includes interactive games to discover the history of Black people in Canada, a workshop on creating African masks to explore traditional art, and a Paint and Sip session where everyone can express their creativity in a relaxed atmosphere. An Afrobeat dance workshop led by professionals will get you moving to dynamic rhythms. The evening will continue with a food break, prize draws, and will end with a lively dance party hosted by a DJ.
Participating in this event is an opportunity to celebrate the richness of Afro-descendant cultures, discover local talents, create unique memories, and build connections in a friendly atmosphere. Admission is free with registration, and an exclusive after-party is planned for those who want to extend the experience.
