As part of Black History Month, the Marie-Gérin-Lajoie Social Training Center, in collaboration with the Downtown CJE, invites you to discover Kasàlà, an ancestral practice rooted in African traditions.

The workshop “Kasàlà: the art of praise to celebrate your inner strength” offers a gentle, collective space to explore your journey, your roots, and your victories through celebratory poetry. Inspired by the Ubuntu philosophy, Kasàlà invites you to transform your inner dialogue, recognize your legitimacy, and cultivate an authentic connection with yourself and others.
