La Parole Listening Party!

Black Theatre Workshop heats up Black History Month by celebrating the release of Season 2 of La Parole: A BTW Podcast, with an exclusive Listening Party and a Community Talk Back!

Join us on Friday, February 20th, for the premiere of Season 2, Episode 1: featuring the live recording of our Black Women in Theatre Symposium, from the 2025 Club Zed Playwrights' Festival, hosted by d’bi.young anitafrika. If you could not be at Club Zed, you can still partake in the insightful conversations, and animated calls to action from the festival!

This legendary conversation features some of Canada's most prominent Black women theatre makers, Djanet Sears, Diane Roberts, Donna-Michelle St. Bernard, and Marcia Johnson. Future episodes of La Parole will also feature intimate one-to-one conversations with each of these writers.
