Presented as part of the exhibition Fréquences ancestrales, this conversation offers insight into the artistic process of filmmaker Myriam Charles. She will discuss how she constructs her works from fragmentary narratives and disjointed temporalities specific to her cinematic language. The discussion will also focus on the evolution of the presentation of the artist's works, which are increasingly featured in contemporary art contexts (museums, art centres and exhibitions). This shift opens up new interpretations of her work and questions the boundaries between cinema, visual arts and contemporary narrative practices.
The event is free, offered in French and open to the general public.
