The McCord Stewart Museum, in collaboration with Festival Afropolitain Nomade, invites you to a multicultural event filled with exciting musical discoveries!
This unique concert is the result of an international residency developed through a collaboration between The Round Table on Black History Month, Festival Afropolitain Nomade and the McCord Stewart Museum, with the financial support of the Canada Council for the Arts, Canadian Heritage and the Conseil des arts de Montréal.
The creative residency will foster a personal and musical encounter between artists Anachnid (Oji-Cree Nation) and Jahelle Bonee (Côte d’Ivoire). The residency will unfold under the artistic direction of composer and arranger Fredy Massamba, who is also the Festival’s artistic director.
On February 14 and 15, 2026, these artists will present the result of their collaborative creation at the McCord Stewart Museum as part of the Black History Month programming.
