"Diasporic Spaces : Visbility and Afrodescendant Cultures in Montréal"

This discussion brings together various local initiatives promoting Afro-descendant cultures in Montreal. Each in its own way, these initiatives create, reclaim and occupy spaces in the city to enable Afro-descendant populations to come together, define, question and celebrate their identities. This ‘diasporic space,’ created for this event at the UQAM'S Centre de design, is part of the Black History Month's celebrations organised by the UQAM`s Arts Faculty.
