
The 4th edition of the Immersion creative residency program will take place from January 24 to February 16, 2026, in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal.
This flagship project, dedicated to female leadership through the arts, brings together African and Indigenous women artists in a profound intercultural dialogue, supported by prestigious institutions such as the Conseil des arts de Montréal and the McCord Stewart Museum.
This edition highlights three talented artists who, under the artistic direction of Fredy Massamba (Congo), will unite their visions to create an original performance.

Through their collaboration, this project shines a light on cultural exchanges between Africa and First Nations, while celebrating the power of the arts as a tool for social transformation.
This year will also feature a creative residency in visual arts and dance, welcoming two renowned artists:
Two performances will be held on February 14 and 15 at the McCord Stewart Museum at 6:00 PM.
